📺 Designing a Seamless Return-to-Watch Experience

Many users stop watching movies or series mid-way due to unexpected interruptions like power outages or switching devices. In this case study, I explored how a missing “Continue Watching” feature can create friction in user experience, leading to unfinished content, lower engagement, and decreased retention.
Through user research, competitive analysis, and UX design, I designed and evaluated a solution for Filimo — one of Iran’s leading streaming platforms — to help users easily return to where they left off and continue their viewing journey without frustration.
