Milou Design system

Designing milou with Purpose and Precision
When building the milou design system, I adopted a structured, scalable, and user-centered mindset — one that balances consistency with flexibility to empower teams and elevate product quality.
Vision and Strategy
milou wasn’t just a toolkit — it was a vision to unify UI across different platforms without sacrificing creativity. From typography to interaction patterns, every element was built to scale, evolve, and adapt to both product and user needs.
Research-Driven Foundation
Before designing any component, I conducted in-depth audits of existing UIs, collaborated with designers and developers, and identified recurring pain points. These insights helped ensure that milou was grounded in real-world needs — not just theoretical guidelines.
Solving, Not Just Standardizing
To me, a design system should solve problems — not just standardize components. With milou, I tackled inconsistencies, reduced design debt, and built a shared language that helped teams move faster and create more cohesive user experiences.

Built for Humans, Not Just Screens
From accessibility to localization, every decision in milou was made with users in mind. I focused on clarity, inclusivity, and delightful interactions — so even if users never knew a design system was behind the product, they’d still feel the impact.
Beta Launch: Just the Beginning
The beta version of milou has been released, and we’re actively working on future iterations. Our goal is to expand its capabilities, support more use cases, and help teams design and build more efficiently than ever before.
